The Lanjukang Island

"Why not write down them all too??"
It's a question that I've been asking to myself too, and the answer is too simple and... hummpphh... "I'm just too lazy too start, and when I tried to start, bammm!!! It's all gone."

So it's one of my kind-of-holiday a few years ago.

It's 2.5 - 3 hours journey by boat. It cost 2 million for round-trip. But actually, you can get cheaper, about 270K or more, for one way trip. Intinya: cobalah menawar.

Yah kan ini dalam rangka kerjaan, penumpangnya cuma kami-kami dan bawa peralatan dan we don't worry about the cost, AT ALL.
But if you'd like to try to take the public boat *halah, just for fun, you probably need this list of price :p

Lama!!!

Well, as I know and as you probably know, this K-island have so many small islands, and this one, is one of the Spermonde Archipelago.

Waiiiiiit... I haven't say where I went... this island called Lanjukang Island, which even from the far it's already looks gorgeous.

It's about 40km from Ujung Pandang/Makassar, South Sulawesi (masih suka dengan nama Ujung Pandang), the farthest island from Makassar *cmiiw. But the island itself is only 3.4 hectare.
There's only a few family lives there and because that "few", when they grown up, their married with "each other".
Kalau diperhatikan dengan seksama, postur tubuh mereka agak membungkuk, pendek dan kecil *don't look at me!

Penduduk disini agak kesusahan dengan air bersih, jadi harus mengandalkan hujan untuk persediaan air, atau harus beli dari Makassar which mean to get fresh water they should go 80km *whew.
Lupa sebenarnya kebun apa... -harusnya dulu saya nyimpan draft beritanya-.

Enough with the history, what I like from this island are its clear water, its friendly neighborhood, one spot of the island where you can see the sea clearly and of course, the white sands and its hidden giant.

Yups, that's the lighthouse. You can see such a scenery from up there.
Well, as far as they don't do something bad with the island, it should be okay.

It's a perfect place for get-away.
The atmosphere is quiet, all you can hear are the sound of waves crashing on the beach, the bird singing, and it's perfect for you swimmer and snorkeler *sayangnya saya agak tidak berteman dengan air untuk urusan 2 hal terakhir.
If you consider to spend the night here but without pay more for the cottage, you may consider to ask the people there. You just need to negotiate the fare and because water and electricity is kinda rare, please use them wisely too.
Katanya sunset-nya worth it to wait dan tentu saja bisa makan seafood hasil bakaran sendiri, fresh from the ocean.

It was 4 o'clock, the sea looks fine, fine for few minutes.
Yang jelas sampai dermaga saya basah kuyup seperti habis kehujanan.

It's an awesome half-day-trip, awesome tanpa harus mengingat mabuk lautnya ketika pulang.
